We at Kleber Post are also part of this lively cultural scene. In 1963, our establishment became a meeting place for important German writers such as Günter Grass and Hans Magnus Enzensberger. We continue this tradition with our series ‘Literature at Kleber Post’ – with readings, lectures and special evenings for all those who love literature.
The town Bad Saulgau has been maintaining the chamber music "Bad Saulgau concerts" in order to promote classical and contemporary music. It offers renowned ensembles and upstarting young artists distinguished by special musical performances, an adequate and inspiring platform with our Fazioli grand piano and transparent hall acoustics. The cooperation with the German music council means that prize and scholarship winners of the "federal choice of concerts by young artist" make guest performances, as well as top ensembles, such as the "Artemis Quartett" or the "Guarneri Trio Prague", which is a regular guest at the "Bad Saulgau concerts".

Bad Saulgau has a long theatre tradition, and the list of the performing actors reads like a "who is who" of the German theatre: the list of actors performing in Bad Saulgau goes from Josef Meinrad and Bernhard Minetti over Elisabeth Flicken-Schildt up to Sonja Kirchberger and Angelica Domröse , with a program, which attaches special importance to artistically valuable productions, the Bad Saulgau theatre offers nine performances every year from the field of spoken theatre: classics, crime stories, comedies and time pieces, dramas and droll stories. Renowned touring theatre companies, state and free theatres are always guests in Bad Saulgau during theatre season and offer not only best entertainment, but also an insight into the contemporary theatre works of the German-speaking area.

Visitors can take part in all these events upon presentation of the Bad Saulgau visitors' card. They will either be complementary or reduced. You will receive the vistors' card at reception in the Kleber Post. It will then have to be stamped in the tourist information center (situated in the "Stadtforum" Bad Saulgau) in order to become valid.
